In accordance with the directions of Govt. of India Dr. Rajendra A. Badwe, Director, Tata Memorial Centre  signed a MOU with National Cancer Center (NCC), Mongolia for gifting a Tele-therapy unit Bhabhatron-II, on 17th May, 2015. Speaking about the Bhabhatron-II machine developed by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Prime Minister Narendra Modi said  "It is state-of-art nuclear medicine cancer therapy machine, developed and manufactured in India," . While addressing the Mongolian Parliament, Prime Minister Modi said the Bhabhatron equipment "can help treat cancer in Mongolia. This will be the first demonstration of our cooperation in the civil nuclear sector".
